DIY Kitchen Remodel Guide

So……you are planning a complete remodel or an addition to make your kitchen grand. Well the first place to start is with the design. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, don’t go tearing out your walls and cabinets until you have everything planned. This is the phase where it pays to hire a designer who can help draw up the plans. If they do CAD (computer aided design) with 3D renderings, even better. This way, you can see how your ideas will look and work before you get started. Kitchen designers do this day in and day out so they can help you avoid common mistakes. Mistakes cost time and money. Better to pay a few bucks for a professional kitchen design, and get it right the first time, than to waste time and materials (money) and have all the headaches that come with the mistakes. Glass cabinet doors open up your space while giving it a more upgraded feel.

I know, all my clients say “but then I have to keep my cabinets neat or all my junky stuff will show”. Well, since you are spending the money to upgrade your kitchen, most likely your cabinets and appliances, why not your dishes too? In the big picture of the cost of your remodel, this will be maybe 1-2% of the cost of your remodel unless of course fine china is your everyday choice (but if that’s the case, you don’t have the issue of your stuff looking messy now do you?). With new dinnerware and glasses, just stack them with like sizes (which is the obvious storage system anyway) and voila!……. your plates are organized and look great through the glass. Appliance Reviews…. From a Professional Kitchen Designer

A professional Kitchen designer and cook reviews appliance companies.

I spend any spare time I have updating my product knowledge about appliances. This is because every client/homeowner/cook is different.
They use appliances differently. While one cook might use all the bells and whistles that top appliances like Wolf/Sub Zero or Thermador have to offer, another would never want to use them. That is why you just can’t say that one product line is better than other. Better for whom? This is why knowing about all or most appliances and what is new this year, helps me help my customers (and you) how to choose the right appliances……. for you.
Some users have expressed frustration with the see for source viagra generika PDE-5 inhibitors. You can include citrus fruits in your daily diet to improve viagra order shop health and control early discharge to enjoy intimate moments with her. Oh Yes, I have my favorites…… but I am a “foody” and a chef and I do want certain things that I know will suit my cooking styles the best. (more on my favorites later) In subsequent posts (see categories list/appliance reviews for specific appliance company reviews as they come) I will be reviewing appliance companies and going over some of their pros and cons (to me).  I am also going to leave some brands out either because I do not have knowledge and experiences with them or I just don’t think they are worth the ink (sorry to those of you who don’t make my cut).  Remember, this is one of your first and (I think) most important decisions when remodeling or updating your kitchen. Choose your appliances first! Then build around them. After all….. could you cook in your kitchen without them?
